Father Etienne M. Ntale Majaliwa has been elected Superior General of the Barnabite Order

The 138th General Chapter of the Clerics Regular of St. Paul – Barnabites was held in Warsaw from 15 to 30 March 2025. On 29 March 2025, Father Etienne M. Ntale Majaliwa B, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was elected Superior General of the Order.
The Congregation of Canons of the Great Saint Bernard renewed its Council for the period 2025-2028 at its General Chapter in March 2025. The following were elected to assist Provost Jean-Pierre Voutaz: Canons François Lamon (Prior General), Joseph Voutaz, Daniel Salzgeber (Treasurer General), Joseph Yang and Simon Roduit.
