Videos that give voice: storytelling at the service of the mission

10/01/2026

Online and in-person workshop
23 January 2026

Workshop organised by the MMI in partnership with the UISG and the USG

Telling the story of the mission through images, faces and real-life stories is today an essential dimension of ecclesial communication. When used in a conscious and respectful way, videos can become an effective tool for giving voice to the mission and to those who live it every day.

In this perspective, the Missionary Media Initiative (MMI), in partnership with the UISG and the USG, promotes the workshop "Videos that give voice: storytelling at the service of the mission", a formative programme dedicated to the foundations of video storytelling in the service of proclamation and missionary witness.

The workshop aims to offer criteria and tools for authentic, ethical communication that is faithful to the people and contexts portrayed, valuing the concrete experience of the mission.
