Sport & Faith at the Service of Humanity

Formation and mission
Established in 2016 as an outcome of the First Global Conference on Sport and Faith at the Service of Humanity (SSH), hosted at The Vatican, conceived and inspired by Pope Francis, and executed through collaboration with the Int'l Olympic Committee and the United Nations.
3 Pillars (Inclusion, Involvement, Inspiration) and 6 Principles (Joy, Compassion, Respect, Love, Balance, Enlightenment) - virtues common to faith and sport - were declared and adopted.
SSH Foundation was assigned to deliver a global movement, rooted in Catholic social teaching and to be activated at the intersection of faith and sport.
We intend to facilitate dialogue between the sport and faith communities, inspire partnerships amongst those sector leaders, and amplify content coming from those impactful good workings.
