On November 17, General Assembly of JPIC Promoters of Religious Congregations
How can the defense of human dignity be translated into concrete choices in the life and mission of our institutes? What contribution can religious life offer today toward integral development that cares for people, peoples, and our common home?
The annual General Assembly of JPIC Promoters, organized by the USG-UISG Joint Commission for Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation, will be dedicated to addressing these challenges under the theme: "Human Dignity and Integral Development: Building a Just and Peaceful World."
The meeting will take place on November 17, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Rome time), and is addressed to JPIC coordinators and promoters across religious congregations. It will be an opportunity to share experiences, explore challenges related to human rights and integral, ecological human development, and strengthen inter-congregational collaboration.
For Superiors General, supporting the work of JPIC contact persons fosters a commitment that spans formation, community life, and apostolic discernment. The USG therefore encourages Superiors General to share this initiative with their designated contact persons and promote their participation.
The Assembly will be held in a hybrid format:
- In-person: at UISG headquarters, Piazza di Ponte Sant'Angelo 28, Rome.
- Online: via the connection link sent to registered participants.
