Free Safeguarding Reflections During Lent

The Institute of Anthropology of the Pontifical Gregorian University (IADC) is an international centre dedicated to the study and promotion of safeguarding within the Church.
For the Lenten season, IADC is offering a series of free reflections aimed at deepening the understanding of safeguarding within a liturgical and prayerful context.
Inspired by the Gospel readings proclaimed throughout Lent, the reflections invite the faithful to place the most vulnerable at the centre of prayer and ecclesial life. The initiative seeks to foster greater awareness and responsibility in promoting safe relationships, environments, and structures, both within the Church and in daily life.
Bringing together theological, psychological, and personal perspectives, the reflections emphasize that safeguarding is not separate from faith, but an essential expression of it and an integral dimension of the Church's evangelizing mission.
