USG & UISG Education Commission Seminar - 2022

On 13, 14 and 15 October 2022, the Seminar for the Formation of Educators, organised annually by the Education Commission of the Unions of Superiors General, will take place. The work will focus on the process of the GLOBAL EDUCATION COMPACT, promoted by Pope Francis.

We seek to learn about the work that is being done so far on the development of the COMPACT, with the presence of the main institutions that are promoting it. We will also seek to share significant experiences that are underway and that can inspire the options and commitments of our Congregations. The aim is that we can reflect together on the new steps we can take to continue promoting this exciting educational challenge.

The participants in the seminar will be decided and registered by the respective General Governments of the Congregations, so that the participants can, in turn, pass on their findings from the seminar to their respective institutions.

The Seminar will be coordinated by the SANTA MARIA Foundation.

CENTRAL THEME: "The momentum of the Global Education Compact. Current situation and prospects".

DATES: 13, 14 and 15 October 2022, in online modality.

HOURS: From 14:00 to 17:00 (Rome time)

TARGET: The Superior General should propose representatives who play a significant role in the coordination and management of the mission. Each Congregation can participate with a group of between 5 and 8 people.

PRICE: 60 euros per person
