International Webinar on Accompanying Migrants
Online Meeting: 18 May 2026
2:20 PM – 4:30 PM (Rome Time)
Languages: Italian, English, Spanish, and French.

"Where the world sees threats, she sees children; where walls are built, she builds bridges".
(Dilexi Te, cf. 75)
Rooted in the Gospel call to welcome the stranger and in the Church's mission to accompany migrants, the UISG International Network for Migrants and Refugees is promoting an online meeting dedicated to the theme of hospitality and closeness to migrants.
The event will offer a space for listening, reflection, and dialogue on how ecclesial communities can continue to build paths of welcome, proximity, and hope alongside migrants and refugees. In the light of Dilexi Te, the meeting aims to deepen the human, spiritual, and pastoral dimensions of this service in a time marked by global challenges, forced migration, and new forms of vulnerability.
The programme will include a dialogue with the Commission, followed by a presentation of the
UISG International Network for Migrants and Refugees and the initiatives promoted in support of migrants.
The event will take place online on 18 May 2026, from 2:20 PM to 4:30 PM (Rome time),
in Italian, English, Spanish, and French.
The meeting is open to everyone.
