Digital Culture: towards Effective Inculturation
MMI Webinar in collaboration with USG and UISG
23 October 2026 · 14:30–16:00
Understanding digital languages to communicate the Gospel:
a webinar with Msgr Lucio Ruiz.
Digital culture also challenges consecrated life to understand new languages and ways of relating in order to communicate the Gospel. This is the focus of a webinar organised by Multimedia International (MMI), in collaboration with UISG and USG, taking place on 23 October 2026, with Msgr Lucio Ruiz, former Secretary of the Dicastery for Communication.
The digital continent is an inhabited world, with its own culture, languages and codes. In the spirit of Pentecost, the webinar invites us to leave our upper rooms, encounter those who inhabit this world and communicate the Gospel in a language they can understand.
The webinar offers an opportunity for reflection for Superiors General, their Councils and those involved in communication, formation and mission within religious institutes.
