A time for Listening on the Church Mission of Education
Meeting of the USG–UISG Education Commission

On April 30, 2026, the UISG and USG Education Commission is promoting a meeting dedicated to the Church's educational mission, aimed at Superiors General, those responsible for education, and their delegates.
The initiative is part of the shared journey of recent years and takes place in the context of the Jubilee of the world of education, with the aim of offering a space for reflection and dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of education today.
His Eminence Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, will take part in the meeting. The event will be an authentic synodal exercise, based on conversation in the Spirit, to share experiences, recognize the good already present in the educational commitment of religious Institutes, and identify new paths for the future together.
The meeting will be held in Rome at the General Curia of the Society of Jesus, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the possibility of online participation.
